Pennsylvania Election Law

Election Law

Election law is a highly evolving practice area in both Pennsylvania State Court and Federal Court. Election law covers complicated legal issues such as voter rights, election monitoring, campaign finance issues, and constitutional issues, along with the process of contesting elections and defending those who are challenged on the ballot.

With recent enactments such as the Help America Vote Act of 2002 and previous to that the National Voter Registration Act of 1993, a/k/a Motor Voter Act, along with Pennsylvania zone amendments to the election code, an in-depth analysis must be undertaken into the many facets of election law today. The focus, of course, is our clients and ensuring them the advice and advocacy they need to confidently confront election law issues on a daily basis.

Whether it is filing objections to nomination petitions and papers in Pennsylvania State Courts, assisting individuals on how to run for political office, or serving as counsel to committees for re-election, election law attorneys such as Jonathan S. Comitz provide the highest level of confidentiality and expertise in serving the client's best interests.
