Jonathan Comitz

Attorney Comitz focuses his practice on the representation of clients in litigated matters in the state courts of Pennsylvania and the Federal Courts in the Third Circuit. His legal practice also extends to appellate practice in Pennsylvania and the Third Circuit.

His wide-range of legal practice includes the areas of general trial litigation, commercial litigation, election law and personal injury litigation with a focus on automobile accidents. In 2006, Attorney Comitz was selected as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyers’ Rising Star.

He is a member the Federal Bar Association, The Middle District of PA Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Wilkes-Barre Law and Library Association, the Lackawanna Bar Association, The Federalist Society for Law & Public Policy Studies, the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association and the Northeast Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association. Attorney Comitz has associate membership in the Dauphin County Bar Association and the Northeast Pennsylvania Claims Association.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, Attorney Comitz graduated from Juniata College in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania with his Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science. He then received his Jurist Doctorate from the Widener University School of Law in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

In addition to the practice of law, Attorney Comitz is a member of the St. David's Society of Wyoming Valley, Inc., the Wilkes-Barre YMCA, Glenmaura National Golf Club and the First Welsh Presbyterian Church.

Attorney Comitz resides in Wilkes-Barre with his wife, Kelly, and their two children Samuel and Carolyn. His hobbies include fly-fishing, golf and basketball.
