Jonathan S. Comitz was recently selected as a 2006 Pennsylvania Rising Star. This distinct honor places Attorney Comitz as one of the top up-and-coming lawyers in Pennsylvania.
The process in being selected as a Rising Star is very competitive. Law & Politics magazine establishes the criteria and performs the necessary surveys and research. Rising Star lawyers must exhibit superior professional qualities and potential in the practice of law. Attorney Comitz’s selection places him in a unique class of lawyers in Pennsylvania. He was nominated by his peers as being among the top five percent of Pennsylvania attorneys, under the age 40 or who have been practicing 10 years or less.

Timothy J. Holland was recently named to Pennsylvania Super Lawyers (2004). This distinct honor places Attorney Holland as one of the top lawyers in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
The selection process in being named one of Pennsylvania’s Super Lawyers is very competitive. Over 34,000 ballots were mailed to attorneys across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. These ballots requested that attorneys vote for the best lawyers they had personally observed in action. Candidates were submitted and their credentials were evaluated and assigned points upon defined evaluation criteria. Candidates were also evaluated to ensure their proper licensure, their good standing with the Bar, and that they had no history of disciplinary actions.
A Blue-Ribbon panel was then formed to narrow the list of top point getters from the general survey. The panel divided the candidates into nearly sixty areas of practice. To arrive at the final selection process, point totals from the general survey, the screening process and the Blue-Ribbon panel review were added together for a final point total. The final point totals were then segregated by firm size (small, medium, and large). The top point getters from each of the three firm size categories were then selected as Pennsylvania Super Lawyers.
Attorney Holland finds himself in good company. His nomination as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer places him in the top five percent of the attorneys in Pennsylvania.
